Questions about Ring Sizes

We highly recommend you to go to a local jewelry store to have your size measured. It’s the safest way to get an accurate size for your ring.

TIPS FOR MEASURING YOUR FINGER

  • Measure the correct finger: The dominant hand is often slightly larger, so be sure to measure the finger where you plan to wear the ring.
  • Consider the ring’s width: Wider rings can feel slightly smaller on the finger, while narrower rings often feel slightly larger. Take the ring’s width into account when choosing the size.
  • Measure at the right body temperature: Ensure you are at normal body temperature when measuring, as finger size can change depending on whether you are warm or cold.
  • Measure at different times: Your ring size can vary depending on the time of day. Try measuring at different times to get a more accurate result. Avoid measuring when you are cold, as fingers can be about half a size smaller.
  • Measure in the evening: Evening is usually the best time to measure, as fingers can be at their largest.
  • Measure multiple times: Measure your finger at least three times to ensure you get an accurate size. If you get different sizes, choose the largest measurement for a better fit and easier adjustment if needed.
  • Consult a jeweler: If you are unsure of your size or have specific requests, you can always visit a local jeweler for a professional measurement.
  • Order a ring sizer online: You can order a ring sizer online to measure your finger at home.

Resizing

Most of our rings can be resized, but some cannot. Depending on the setting and prongs, resizing certain rings may risk damaging the side stones. We recommend contacting us at custom@vonlaura.com before consulting your local jeweler.

If there is a craftsmanship defect related to your ring size, we can resize it for free or offer a partial refund so you can have it resized at a local jewelry store, avoiding the risks of global shipping.

If you ordered the wrong size, we suggest resizing it at a local jewelry store, as most of our rings can be easily adjusted by a skilled jeweler. If local resizing is not an option, you’re welcome to contact us—we offer resizing for a small, reasonable fee.

Questions about Diamonds

Lab-grown diamonds are finely crafted with the same physical, chemical, and optical characteristics as natural diamonds. They are created using cutting-edge technology that replicates the natural diamond-growing process, resulting in a luxurious gemstone without the worry of conflict or environmental damage.

We use IGI certifications for all our lab-grown diamonds, ensuring that they meet international standards and maintain top quality. All diamonds larger than 0.5 carat include a certificate of authenticity.

We use GIA certifications for all our natural diamonds, ensuring that they meet international standards and maintain top quality. All diamonds larger than 0.5 carat include a certificate of authenticity.

No, our lab-grown diamonds have excellent clarity, color, and cut, and are available in various carat weights. Just like high-quality natural diamonds, they will not get cloudy over time.

Questions about Metals

Yes, all of our jewelry is always nickel-free and undergoes a nickel test with our suppliers before delivery.

Yes, we use recycled gold in our jewelry. By choosing recycled gold, we help reduce the environmental impact of gold mining and preserve natural resources. We are proud to offer our customers an ethical and sustainable option while maintaining the highest quality and beautiful design in our pieces.

Yes, our white gold contains palladium, a high-quality metal that makes it more durable, resistant to scratches and discoloration, and enhances its hypoallergenic properties. This gives our jewelry a beautiful, long-lasting white hue.

Unlike traditional white gold, which is often plated with rhodium, our palladium-infused white gold requires less rhodium plating, which means it maintains its appearance longer and requires less maintenance – saving you both time and money. It’s rare for other jewelers to offer white gold with palladium, which makes our jewelry unique and an exclusive choice for you.

Platinum is a more durable and exclusive metal, ideal for those looking for a heavy, long-lasting choice. However, our palladium-infused white gold is a high-quality, hypoallergenic alternative that provides excellent durability and a beautiful white hue, all at a more affordable price point. Both are great choices, depending on your preferences and budget.
